Call for Participation

ISMAR Augmented Reality Games Project

** September 1-5th 2014, Munich, Bavaria, Germany **

For the first time, one week before the main conference, we will host the ISMAR Augmented Reality Games Project. The goal is to create novel augmented reality games that will be presented at the main conference. For this purpose we want to invite 10 talented students to participate in this project. All applicants will be considered and we will select a group best suited to run the project. 

Accepted students will receive complementary registration to ISMAR 2014. Lodging (shared room) and partial travel assistance is also available. 

Application

Augmented Reality Games Project applications should be handed in as a single PDF file and not exceed two pages. 

The application should contain the following content:

  • Short CV
  • Experience with:
    • Augmented Reality
    • Game Engines (Unity3D)
    • 3D Modelling 

Application Deadline:           01 August 2014

Application Notification date:  08 August 2014

All applications will be acknowledged by email; applications received after this date will not be considered.  The applications should be e-mailed to pankratz [at] in.tum.de .

Technical information

The technical setup of the augmented reality system will be prepared beforehand (tracking setup and output devices). The main task of the project is the development of the AR game. As a game engine we will use Unity3D. More details about the setup will be provided later.
