This year’s ISMAR Conference Dinner will be held on the grounds of Adelaide Zoo on Thursday, 3 rd October 2013.
The Zoo is Australia’s second oldest, and the only major metropolitan zoo in Australia to be owned and operated on a non-profit basis. Located in the parklands just north of the city centre, it is a short walk from the University’s City East Campus.
Adelaide Zoo houses more than 1,800 animals and almost 300 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish from the continents of Australia, Asia, Africa and South America. In December 2009, the notable Giant Panda Exhibit opened with Wang Wang and Funi, the only two giant pandas in the southern hemisphere.
The evening will begin with a sunset tour of the Zoo, and be preceded by a 2 course seated dinner in the state of the art function facility, Sanctuary Adelaide Zoo.
